I won this auction for my babygirl. I beleive the doll is pre mattel because her lashes are much softer than her other dolls and there is some type of stamp behind her ear. We've only been collecting for 2 years and just started with the historicals so I don't know what the red felt things that came with the doll. i was also able to order the missing meet pieces from AG. I learned that from this site-so awesome!

I'm almost afraid to say this........but, does she look like she has silver eye, or is that just a reflection? Her left eye.

If so, the doll hospital will fix it for free, only you have to make sure to tell them, just the eye. Don't let them replace the head.

Forgot to add....Molly is my absolute favorite of all the AG's. I have 5 of them, and I'm always looking at more on Ebay. She's a real cutie!

okay after a double check in the light they are much lighter than any blue eyed doll we have so I'll go with grey! Phew, after reading all the posts I'm so worried about getting a doll from ebay. If we were talking about 60's Barbies I would know all the answers, but this is new to me. Thanks everyone for all this info, I now know how to feel and search on the doll for a pre-mattel-didn't know the difference 3 weeks ago
